We shadowed customers in their day-to-day work in order to understand what they needed in a credit report. We found that they wanted to make quick decisions, so looked for a report that was functional and easy to read.

Our customer-centric approach led us to develop a report dashboard that did two key jobs: it presented a comprehensive summary with clear graphics and showed customers who needed more specific information how to access it on a task-by-task basis.

User-friendly reports cause a surge in uptake

Our new design made the reports more user-friendly and consequently uptake has soared. This has had the further benefit of encouraging Experian to redesign the way it provides data and information across a number of other services.
